Closing Down for the Season

With much sorrow, I am closing down this blog for the season. Future photo challenges are postponed. I don’t know when they will resume. My husband is dying from pancreatic cancer, and I am totally devoted to his care.  At the moment, there is no time in my life for photographic or blogging pursuits.

I greatly appreciate your interest in the photo challenges. I hope you have learned a few tricks and had fun along the way. It has done my heart good to help all of you and bring some joy to your lives.

Please keep us in your prayers.

Thank you, my dear friends.

Take this season to spend with your husband and to just take what time you can for yourself. Enjoy the little moments which life will continue to hand you, moments to be cherished like an old photograph. God bless.

  16. Dearest Donna, I am praying for your husband and you..for everyone that loves you.
I can't even begin to imagine the pain and hurt you are living with, watching your beloved go through this. I am so sorry, I don't know what to do...other than pray for angels around your husband to help ease his pain and suffering.
Please know I love you and wish I could find words to make your feel better.
I'm too far away to bring you food or do your laundry or anything to help you...just my prayers that will keep coming.
    love, bj
